OMG WHAT FUN WE'LL HAVE [Dec. 4th, 2005|12:10 pm]
[mood |sopular]

Here is an exclusive photo of the pinata we will be beating on at the Dec 9 Scumbo performance at Freddy's Backroom, purchased with an authentic Latina (and I think from one too.) We've meticulously customized it to make it more appropriate for the venue.

Remember, 11:30 pm, Friday Dec 9 at Freddy's Backroom on Dean St and 6th Ave. You won't even have to buy me birthday drinks as the band drinks for free anyway.

Clarification [Dec. 4th, 2005|12:05 pm]
[mood |omexicalish]

My inbox has been inundated with hundreds of emails in regards to the misprint on this flyer, so I thought I should clarify.

"Scumbu" is the name of the Scumbo tribute band. Make no mistake, it will be the real authentic ScumbO performing at this gig. Accept no imitations.

Have I mentioned this???? [Nov. 16th, 2005|08:43 pm]

[music |Save My Solo]

A little background info for you non-Brooklyneers, The fat guy is knocking down this bar Freddy's, along with pretty much the rest of the neighborhood, to build an arena for the New Jersey Nets, and put up some highrises. This means alot of bad shit, none worse than me losing my favorite bar.

All this hoopla is worth your wait in dough [Apr. 15th, 2005|08:51 pm]
Just a little note to mention that we've just posted an update of sorts of our song Mercury Son... subtle changes perhaps but we think they make the song much improved-like. Plus its got more Psychedelic Weirdness, which you all like. Don't you? www.scumbo.com

New egg, the song is a cover song the song is a cover song instant fun! [Apr. 3rd, 2005|07:04 pm]
[music |SCUMBO - FLASHING LIGHTS]

OK... we've just posted our first ever cover song! It's called FLASHING LIGHTS and was originally recorded by Screaming Lord Sutch, British pop icon and founder of the Official Monster Raging Loony Party. It's also the first song of ours to feature the lovely L'il Lizzie Hur on some backing vox.

You can download FLASHING LIGHTS here: www.scumbo.com

It was fun for us to do a song like this... we hope you like it... the live version's gonna be splendidific!

In other news, our next show will probably be in May... we're working on a few new things and we're hoping to have a CD ready by the summer.
